Susan is a Chartered Professional Accountant and brings over 25 years of service to the accounting and finance community. Prior to moving full time into the recruitment and placement of finance and accounting professionals, Susan held senior positions such as VP Finance and Systems of the Moffat Canadian Cable group, Corporate Controller of The City of Winnipeg and many years as a Senior Assurance Manager with a Big Four Public Accounting firm. Susan has held various volunteer positions including President of the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame, President of the Winnipeg Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI), National Board Member and Audit Committee Member of the Financial Executives International (FEI); Vice Chair of the Board of the Health Sciences Centre and Chair of its Audit Committee, Treasurer of the Winnipeg Convention Centre and Manitoba Research Council. Susan currently sits on the Audit Committee of HEB Manitoba and has been appointed to the Manitoba Public Utilities Board. In 2010, Susan was awarded her FCA (Fellowship) Designation which recognizes distinction in her career and ongoing service to the CPA/CA Profession and community.
Dan is a C.I.M., P.Mgr. and brings over 8 years of professional recruitment experience as well as 12 years of industry experience working in the accounting and finance field. Prior to joining Lambert Nemec Group, Dan spent 6 years as a Director at a large international recruitment firm and was their Global Top Producer, winning many awards. Dan lead large accounting teams over all of his 12 years in industry, working with large publicly traded companies such as Acklands-Grainger, Arctic Glacier and Rexel.
Through Dan’s years of experience, he has developed strong relationships within the Manitoba business community. In addition, Dan has developed an exceptional network of top talent in the accounting and finance community and he has supported business growth by successfully placing hundreds of talented accounting and finance professionals in Manitoba. Dan is available to support local and international business in Winnipeg and he is always available to support his candidates as they continue to reach their full potential throughout their careers!
Jason brings almost 10 years of professional recruitment experience as well as more than 10 years working in the banking industry. Prior to joining Lambert Nemec Group, Jason spent 8 years as a manager and director of permanent placement services with a major international recruitment firm and spent 2 years as a Senior Consultant with an Executive Recruitment firm. Jason previously held managerial and leadership roles in Retail and Commercial Banking, Business Development, Credit, Securities Compliance, Audit and Investment sales and Advisory services with a Canadian Chartered Bank.
Jason prides himself on his ability to build strong relationships with clients and candidates, ensuring the best possible fit for the client and the candidate in terms of experience, skill-set, culture and personality. Over the past 10 years, Jason has worked with many of Manitoba’s largest companies and top employers placing candidates in a wide variety of junior, intermediate, senior and Executive level positions. Jason enjoys working closely with clients and candidates to match Clients and their positions with the ideal Candidate in terms of personality, skills and experience ensuring a successful and long term fit for both the company and the candidate.
Matthieu is a CPA, CA, MBA and brings over 4 years experience specializing in the recruitment of finance & accounting professionals, as well as, 6 years experience working for a Big Four Public Accounting Firm.
Before joining the Lambert Nemec group, Matthieu worked for a national recruitment firm as well as a major international recruitment firm. At both firms, he was recognized as being a top performer.
Over the past 10 plus years, Matthieu has developed great business relationships with both clients and candidates, and he has worked with clients in several industries including small, medium, large, publicly traded, and NPO organizations.
He prides himself on making sure that he understands what candidates are looking for in a new job to ensure that they take the right job, not just any job. His candidates and clients have continued to show their appreciation for his attention to detail and quality work.
Matthieu is also active in the community volunteering as a coach with Special Olympics Manitoba for the past 16 years, sitting on boards for the University of Manitoba Alumni Association and for his condo corporation board, volunteering with Winnipeg Harvest, among other community activities.
Brittani specializes in Finance and Accounting placements. Brittani is currently a member of the Association of Professional Recruiters of Canada (APRC) and she holds her Registered Professional Recruiter designation. Brittani is a Red River College Graduate from the Commerce Sales & Marketing program. In addition, Brittani is currently pursuing her Human Resource Management Diploma at the University of Winnipeg. Brittani donates her time in the community to the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame as well as the Sky Condominium Board. Brittani has held management and leadership positions with a top Canadian Experiential Marketing agency and has past experience in small business accounting.
Brittani’s outgoing personality and her passion to work with people has led her to a career path of specializing in recruitment. Brittani is a true people person and prides herself on her communication skills. Her varied experience and people skills give her the ability to support candidates in their determination of their future career path. In addition, Brittani can also support Lambert Nemec Group clients in finding the right candidate for their organization.
Kaila is a graduate of the University of Manitoba. She completed her studies in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science, Major in Mathematics. After graduating, she worked as an Associate at one of Winnipeg’s largest Wealth Management companies and shortly after, she made the transition into recruitment. Financial recruiting was a natural fit for Kaila marrying her passion and experience working with numbers, with her exceptional people skills and outgoing, warm and friendly personality. She joins the team with 3 years’ recruitment experience specializing in Accounting, Finance & Administrative positions having previously worked with a national recruitment firm. With her previous company, Kaila received the “People’s Choice” award which is given to the consultant who received overall highest client satisfaction ratings across Canada, which she attributes to her strong customer service skills and genuine care and commitment to finding the best fit for both her clients and candidates.
In her spare time, Kaila is an avid fitness enthusiast – placing third on the Manitoba Half Marathon, and she also enjoys coaching boot camps and running clubs in her free time.
Lynn graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Winnipeg, majoring in accounting and finance and began pursuing a professional accounting designation. Lynn has over 10 years’ experience working in the accounting and finance field having worked in financial accounting roles with large private and public Manitoba companies in the Manufacturing, Financial Services and Automotive industries. In addition, Lynn has also worked with a large global recruitment firm specializing in the recruitment of finance and accounting candidates, where Lynn specialized in recruiting Senior Finance professionals within the Manitoba Market.
Lynn enjoys taking time and working closely with individuals in properly understanding their background, objectives and motivation in seeking a new position and ensuring an ideal fit with the clients that we represent. Her patient, considerate approach coupled with her own finance and accounting experience allows her to genuinely understand and empathize with the needs and objectives of every person she works with.
Brett graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Winnipeg, majoring in Kinesiology and Biology, and began pursuing a masters designation in medical rehabilitation. Brett is joining the Lambert Nemec Group as a consultant and brings with him over 8 years of experience working in customer service and logistics support roles with a large Manitoba company in the transportation industry.
Brett is the newest member to our team. His friendly and outgoing personality seemed to be the perfect match for a career in recruiting. He considers himself to be a people person and prides himself on building long lasting relationships with everyone he comes in contact with. With his experience in customer service, Brett knows the importance of understanding a client’s needs to ensure their expectations are met every single time.

Shannon began her career as an entrepreneur, building her own business & a solid network of professional clients here in Winnipeg. Shannon is the Marketing Manager at Lambert Nemec Group and is responsible for all external marketing and promotional activities for the Lambert Nemec Group. As Marketing Manager, Shannon is responsible for planning and coordinating functions and promotional events, developing marketing and advertising initiatives and overseeing development and production of Lambert Nemec Groups promotional materials and publications. Shannon’s warm, friendly and outgoing personality makes her our ideal representative for LNG demonstrating the perfect combination of caring and sensitivity for our client and candidate’s needs with a professional and structured approach to everything she does.

Jason has a Computer Science degree from Leeds Becket University, Jason’s international career in technology has taken him from corporate banking and finance to sophisticated medical systems and software. Starting out in financial sales, Jason found himself as the Application Development Manager at Barclays Bank where he led a team of IT professionals. He managed large scale global projects, while providing leadership to the development team, focused on complex business issues. In 2014, Jason became a Project Manager for an advanced medical system company and managed quality assurance for multi-million dollar software system projects.
Jason’s certified in IT Service Management (ITIL), and enjoys working with clients. With Jason’s extensive project and program management experience in technology, he’s found a role that merges his two passions into one: Business and Recruitment

IT Recruitment Consultant
Karen joins TechnologySmart after working for over 3 years in professions she is passionate about, IT & Recruitment. Karen worked as a Recruiting Manager for a large global recruiting firm supporting candidate & clients in the Manitoba Market where she built excellent relationships by providing valuable career advice and successfully supported her candidates career progression. Karen most recently managed the IT Department for a Non-Profit Organization and was responsible for developing program budgets, purchasing & was successful performing multiple software implementations – including a Office 365 migration for 600+ employees. Karen possesses excellent technical skills, excels in learning & applying technical concepts quickly and utilizes this knowledge to troubleshoot & resolve challenges within Information Technology. Drawing from her adept organization and management skills, she spear-headed modernizing her most recent work’s IT department.
Karen holds a Certificate in Applied Accounting from Red River College and has worked in various industries including IT, Non-Profit, Recruitment, and Finance.
Karen is a regular donor at the Canadian Blood Services and has great passion for helping Winnipeg’s youth. Karen volunteers her time collecting donations given to Winnipeg resource shelters.
